Overall Satisfaction with LambdaTest

We are using LambdaTest for our app automation using selenium and appium and running our testcases through LambdaTest using different device.
It helps us to not maintain the physical device and we can run our regression tests in any of the devices with older or newer device or any older version of the app. also we are planning to automate our web automation tests and planning to user our app in app live feature to test the app in real devices to check the compatibility across various devices.

Pros

  • Cross browser testing - helps us to test the sites across different browsers and different os.
  • Real device testing- we can test our apps in iOS and android real devices at anytime.
  • Advance tools like UI inspector, debugging information, session recording, screen recording.

Cons

  • Performance issue in real device testing it is very slow sometimes even the internet is stable
  • The UX is confusing when I am recording the screen for app is is saved in files but as first time user I cant find where the recording was saved.
  • Support for more devtools like chrome devtools are missing.
  • Reducing the test cycle time.
  • Faster Release cycle
  • Improving overall test coverage
Because of the real device testing and cross browser testing as well as running our test automation suite and all the team can see the test cases running live and even the team gets email for the summary of the test automation reports daily can help to get sync with the project.

LambdaTest is well suited for cross browser and cross-device testing in automated workflow as well as manual tests. particularly when running any automation test the whole team can see the test running live. it is ideal for mobile testing and CI/CD integrations. it is difficult to do complex regression test suits and lacks for advance debugging tools
