Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I am a social media manager and have been using Later on and off for the last 3 years. My main services are Instagram scheduling and I started using Later because it was recommended by other digital marketers as the "best" tool for Instagram planning.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Has a visual planner that can help you plan your Instagram feed
Easy to use scheduling features (eg. drag an image and drop it on the calendar)

Cons

Analytics can be improved.
Makes fake promises that it offers Instagram Stories scheduling and TikTok scheduling when in fact it doesn't.

As a social media manager I find that Buffer, Hootsuite and Sproutsocial are superior to all features available on Later.

Likelihood to Recommend

Later can be a great tool for you if you're a blogger or manage a single Instagram account. Then, you'll find their free plan worth it. However, if you're a marketing agency or new social media manager scheduling across multiple platforms (eg. LinkedIn) this app is quite pricy and lacks a lot of complex features.
I also have a big problem with the misrepresentation of scheduling Instagram stories - as this is one of the main "attraction factors" that made me choose this scheduling app.
