I had used LinkedIn Premium Career to connect with people in the industry directly on LinkedIn. To understand about their nature of work, daily work management. And to connect with the recruiters directly to seek new relevant job opportunities which matches my experience and skill set. It also helped to research about companies.

Job recommendation is not very opt, its just recommending the openings with similar designation.

Usability

LinkedIn Premium Career is very simple to use both on PC and on mobile. Very simplistic and user friendly interface. Without any clutters or unwanted sections. It does the job, easy to connect with people across the globe and to seek out new job opportunities. Only drawback being so much of ads.

Alternatives Considered

Glassdoor.com and Monster.com

Glassdoor is really helpful in learning about a company, feedback of people who gave interview and got the job/declined the job or even didn't get the job, interview process and even salary details for a specific position. Even though these features are not there in LinkedIn Premium Career, its helpful in connecting with the right people.

It also helps to get profile views, which significantly improves the chance of catching the eye of a potential recruiter. Also we can get insights about the companies. For rural and Tier 3/4 cities it may not suite well.
