Overall Satisfaction with LinkedIn Recruiter

We have LinkedIn Recruiter seats for most of our Recruiting team and use it to source candidates. On the plus side, finding candidates via LinkedIn Recruiter is usually a positive experience. But getting candidates to respond via the LinkedIn Recruiter proprietary messaging system continues to be a challenge.

Pros

  • Sourcing candidates
  • Broadcasting our openings
  • Outreach beyond a Recruiters connected network

Cons

  • The LinkedIn Recruiter proprietary messaging system remains a challenge
  • Transitioning from LinkedIn to LinkedIn Recruiter is clunky.
  • We do get hires from LinkedIn Recruiter
  • We'd like to see more hires to justify the cost.
LinkedIn Recruiter is fairly intuitive relative to other sourcing tools that we currently use. Again, it's a bit clunky transitioning from LinkedIn to LinkedIn Recruiter, but not a deal breaker.
LinkedIn is one part community, and one part sourcing tool. Other tools are are more strictly a resume database of job seekers. LinkedIn Recruiter allows us to reach candidates not necessarily looking for a job which is valuable.

Do you think LinkedIn Recruiter delivers good value for the price?

No

Are you happy with LinkedIn Recruiter's feature set?

Yes

Did LinkedIn Recruiter live up to sales and marketing promises?

No

Did implementation of LinkedIn Recruiter go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy LinkedIn Recruiter again?

Yes

We get results from LinkedIn and LinkedIn Recruiter but the cost is prohibitively high. The manual process of updating job slots is also painful and reduces value.
