Overall Satisfaction with LinkedIn Recruiter

I use it as a recruiter to source candidates for various open roles and post sponsored jobs on LinkedIn for more visibility. For the posted jobs, I use the talent pool and recommended matches to find candidates, and utilize the AI tool for writing outreach messages. LinkedIn Recruiter helps us to fill more challenging positions faster than if we solely posted them through our ATS.

Pros

  • matching candidates to open jobs based on skills, interaction with our company
  • organizing our data and providing detailed analytics
  • creating an easier way to reach out to candidates and store pipeline info in projects

Cons

  • AI outreach tool needs improvement for drafting messages
  • candidate matches are not always relevant
  • has decreased our time to fill for roles
  • provides us with high quality candidates that we otherwise would not have found
It's very user friendly.
The AI outreach for messages is low quality and often wastes more time.

Well suited for niche jobs, urgent roles, or more senior level positions where LinkedIn is most useful. It is the best sourcing platform that exists at the moment and provides us with a plethora of candidates. Not well suited for entry level positions and positions that don't require higher education.
