Overall Satisfaction with Loom

I use Loom for reach outs often. Having a tool to quickly record a screen and a video of myself to create a personalized message for my prospects has increased my connection rate significantly. I also use Loom to send internal updates to my team and see other teams doing the same thing. The Loom extension is also great for quickly starting a video without thinking twice.

Pros

  • Ease of use, just click start and the screen you'd like to record and its ready.
  • Easy to send, there are a variety of formats available to send the video in that are easily accessible.
  • Video quality is great, audio quality too!

Cons

  • Self-recording options- I'm not able to blur my background with Loom
  • Ease of use

I think Loom is well suited for anyone that wants to create quick videos to really connect with a person or prospect they would like to communicate with. It's such an easy way to add an extra level of attention to anything you would like to share with someone else. I also love getting looms from other people, it makes me feel a sense of connection with the sender I just don't get via email or IM.
