Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

There is definitely some sort of curve when it comes to orientating yourself to the controls and overall functionality. When it comes to more advanced uses of this tool, there is a need to go back to certain documentation to see if it is possible to do certain things (drill down, etc.), so that's why it's not a perfect 10.
Lucidchart was probably the one and only tool that we found that was able to process our data and prevent us from getting too heavily involved with coding in order to provide us with an org chart. The simplicity with which we were able to attenuate our data to the selection tools was just amazing and I really appreciate that we were able to add new members to the chart without having to add to the data. Their customer service is also really amazing with how quickly I was able to get answers. One really underrated aspect is their documentation. It is very extensive in terms of going over techniques of managing data, org charts, flow charts, and so on and I was really surprised by that. Overall a really flexible and great product.

Since our primary HRIS is G Suite, we enjoy great cross-functional functionality with our tools. We can arrange our data in such a way that we can have it update in live time as our data is updated. That was definitely one thing that we appreciated. The linking between the two platforms was also much more seamless than was originally thought.
Did not need customer support that much because there weren't that many problems, however when I did need help with some of the issues I ran into, I was able to get n front of a human relatively quickly and that's basically all that matters. Documentation was also a great auxiliary to the overall customer support net.

Org charts are really great, but data manipulation to turn the org charts into a geographical heatmap is where this falls. When it comes to org charts, there seems to be less flexibility in terms of transforming that data into some other form. My organization was more focused on finding a replacement for Tableau and it is a bit more difficult to gather insights that we don't have to manually process.
