Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

It is pretty easy to understand the basics, but there are advanced things that I had no idea it could do and was unaware nor does it really tell you. I've seen some nice charts with pictures and such I didn't know you could do, but maybe I didn't need to.
I used Lucidchart for making brainstorms and visual "mockups" of marketing funnels for clients. It was a great visual representation to make things easier to understand for clients and customers. While the look of it is great and it is easy to use, within the last year I have come to stop using it because of the company's practices.
  • Visual representation
  • Easy to use UI
  • User friendly
  • Customer support
  • Pricing
  • User levels of service
  • Helped customers see funnels and help buying decisions
  • Easy to understand for yourself other flows
I did not integrate it with anything so I cannot answer this.
Like I said, their company practices pissed me off and that counts towards company support. I do not support the practices that they did.

Do you think Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite delivers good value for the price?

Are you happy with Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite's feature set?

Did Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite again?

No is exactly the same (as far as I can see) to do basic flow charts. And I was able to export Lucidcharts to to edit them for FREE.
I used to recommend Lucidchart 100%. It was a great tool. I was able to use the "Student Edition" which allowed me to actually use the software and get things done for school, work, or business. Then this year, they decided to essentially cancel all education accounts and demand payment or you can't even use your already-created charts/files. This is very poor practice and caused me and many others to NOT recommend them anymore. I understand pricing changes, etc. People who had the education level before last year should be grandfathered in though, most SaaS do this (also, think Appsumo). At the worst, previous users should have still been able to edit their already created documents, but no, you can only "edit 3 of your most recent files". EXCEPT YOU CAN'T. When you actually go in to edit the 3 that you are 'allowed' to edit, you literally cannot use basic features of a flow chart, such as connecting 2 squares together with an arrow. Apparently connecting a flow chart counts as a "premium feature" and you have to upgrade. There is literally NO use to a free account. You cannot use a flow chart the way flow charts work. Absolutely disgusting business practice. Just Writing this annoys me and I lowered the score from 3 to 2, because really, you can't do anything with it unless you pay. If you don't mind paying, then sure it is great. I guess for that I will keep it a 3-star, but the practices that their company has done make me NOT want to recommend it. What says that they won't do the same thing in the future to new users? You create a ton of documents when you were promised unlimited, then they tell you ok now the price is double or 3x and if you don't pay up, well you can only edit 3 docs but not really actually edit 3 docs. Bad company practices DEFINITELY lower ratings. To top this off, after googling, I found software that is literally the exact same, and it is FREE. I am talking about even down to the UI is the exact same. is the website. Go use that! It is free. Even better, you can technically export all of your Lucidcharts to this, simply by selecting your entire chart in Lucidchart, hitting ctrl+c, then ctrl+p, boom your entire chart is now in draw and you can do what you want with it. So long Lucidchart!
