Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart

Lucidchart is one of the easiest diagraming tools I have used. I agree that with almost no training anyone can get started quickly and have something created in just a few minutes. It also has some great documentation on how to integrate with other applications. It is also easy to publish or export diagrams that you create.
Lucidchart is being used across the company by the product, engineering, and business intelligence teams to diagram and document our internal systems. We integrate with our other documentation applications to ensure documentation is always up to date. This allows new and existing employees to easily find and understand our internal systems' architecture.

We integrate lucidchart with Atlassian and it saves a lot of time by keeping documentation up to date without having to manually update whenever changes are made. It also allows others to easily share documentation and diagrams created with others across the company. We are looking at integrating with other applications like slack and salesforce in the future as well.
We have not needed a lot of support since the documentation is done very well. We have also had a good experience dealing with their sales team. They respond quickly whenever we acquire about adding additional licenses. Also, the billing team worked closely with our accounts payable team to set up and connect our billing systems.

Lucidchart is much easier to use than Visio. Lucidchart also does a better job diagraming other cloud environments outside of Microsoft that Visio lacks. I also find that the auto-alignment features in Lucidchart are much smoother than in Visio. Finally, I feel the overall visuals look better in Lucidchart than in Visio.
Lucidchart is best suited for diagramming system architectures as well as process flows. It can also be used to map out organization employee trees. There are also capabilities to auto-connect to these systems and auto-create these diagrams. Lucidchart also integrates well with other applications. It is not a replacement for your complete documentation environment but a great addition to it.
