Overall Satisfaction with Lucidchart
Lucidchart is being used across the company by the product, engineering, and business intelligence teams to diagram and document our internal systems. We integrate with our other documentation applications to ensure documentation is always up to date. This allows new and existing employees to easily find and understand our internal systems' architecture.
- Creating architectural diagrams.
- Integrating with other applications.
- Staying up to date with cloud service icons.
- Add some auto diagram integration with Snowflake.
- Time saved keeping documentation up to date due to integrating applications.
- Faster onboarding with improved documentation.
- Time saved with the ease of use on creating new diagrams.
We integrate lucidchart with Atlassian and it saves a lot of time by keeping documentation up to date without having to manually update whenever changes are made. It also allows others to easily share documentation and diagrams created with others across the company. We are looking at integrating with other applications like slack and salesforce in the future as well.

Lucidchart is much easier to use than Visio. Lucidchart also does a better job diagraming other cloud environments outside of Microsoft that Visio lacks. I also find that the auto-alignment features in Lucidchart are much smoother than in Visio. Finally, I feel the overall visuals look better in Lucidchart than in Visio.
