Overall Satisfaction with Lucidspark

As a self-employed consultant working remotely (my current client is approx 1,400 kilometres or 870 miles from my location), it is not easy to just pop into the client's office for a meeting or brainstorming session. Lucidspark bridges this distance gap for me by allowing me to creatively show case my ideas and allow for effective collaboration and discussion of ideas.

  • Does not have all the integrations we would want, i.e. MS Teams
  • Easier erasing of information
  • Embedding videos
  • Meeting effectiveness
  • Saving time as ideas are discussed in a single workshop and the final outcome distributed immediately afterwards
  • Increased productivity as it does not require multiple sessions or email discussions to conclude a piece of work
Even though the software is straight forward to use, the only draw back is the using of mouse to draw at times does hamper speed and cleanliness of drawing area. It would take a few sessions to get the hang of this, but it should improve as it is used more and more.
Being able to save and share documents created in Lucidspark in Google Drive, ensures time and cost savings as all documents are now in one place and everyone collaborates on the same document. No more multiple versions of a document floating around in emails. Its integration with Lucidchart allows for easy discussion of any chart existing in Lucidchart.
Lucispark's overall performance as a virtual whiteboard has opened up a number of avenues for collaboration and has now established itself as a go to virtual whiteboard. Being able to virtually collaborate on a single whiteboard and instantly share or save in Google Drive the final results has made collaboration a breeze.
With Lucidspark being such a high quality and easy to understand and use software, there has been no need for direct contact of the support team. Guides and knowledge pieces that are available have also allowed for all team members to easily understand and adopt the software and this also allowed for quick adoption.

I have not personally measured Lucidspark against any other such software. I did review what is available in MS Teams, but because we use Lucidchart extensively and LucidSpark was the obvious software to use as the collaboration tool with Lucidchart, it became the automatic go to for our whiteboard meeting software.
Lucidspark is well suited in a remote team structure, as it allows for easy collaboration in virtual teams. It allows for the whole team to add / give input in a brainstorming session. We use it a lot when brainstorming new technology solutions, drawing / documenting the solution, and once done can easily save / share the final information.
