Overall Satisfaction with M1

We use M1 company wide. It does everything from purchasing to inventory to production scheduling. Before M1 we had many disparate systems that we were able to combine into one source of truth.

M1 has great flexibility to allow for business specific processes and procedure. The customization aspect of M1, although date in its use of VBScript, provides a lot of freedom to modify and tailor any module to make it work for your company. It can be convoluted and complex for internal users without an expert. It can be expensive to hire ECi's professional services to achieve those goals.
M1 is light years ahead in overall cost and proficiency. It allows so much more control and flexibility as compared to its competitors. When choosing M1 we went through many demos and M1 was the only ERP that met our needs and still does. We also control our own data which is a big plus for us.

It is well suited and flexible enough to fit most manufacturing environments. M1 do a great job helping departments interact seamlessly and efficiently with out a lot of hallway conversations. M1 tends to be met with some angst over the outdated UI, but once users learn the software they are quick to understand it's power and potential.
