We use Majestic for backlink analysis for our clients as well as for competitive analysis and for identifying prospective new clients for our business.
Pros
- Majestic has one of the largest, if not in fact THE largest, inventory of internet links. For backlink analysis that's extremely important.
- Majestic does everything we need at a MUCH more affordable price than their main competitor.
- Their clique hunter tool is very interesting for identifying backlink opportunities.
- Their Chrome browser extension is very clever and useful.
Cons
- Their UI is dated and a bit hard to understand.
- They are our go-to tool for backlink analysis.
Majestic just plain WORKS, and its pricing is much more affordable than Ahrefs.
