Overall Satisfaction with ManageEngine ADAudit Plus

We use EndpointCentral, LOG360, and OpManager.

Pros

  • Wide range of products.
  • Instant Support.

Cons

  • Applications are very clunky and fall over often.
  • I don't feel QA is performed correctly or sufficiently.
  • Make all products more reliable and sturdier.
  • We have spent ALOT of time with support fixing issues.
  • We don't trust the product to report accurately when needed.
  • The products require A LOT of maintenance and sanity checking.
Not really as they kept breaking.
Cheap and cheerful entry-level products. I feel they have tried to cover a lot of areas but poorly executed each one. They seem to spend more time re-designing the UI that fixing issues. For example, it has been a year since we requested 256-bit BitLocker. By the time they get it released, everyone will be using quantum encryption! The products require a lot of hand-holding to make sure they are working, which takes me away from other tasks.
They don't always help and sometimes try to tell me, "that's how it's designed," even though it is clear to see that it's not. Sometimes I ask myself why they would design it in such a way. In disbelief.

A small organization with 100-150 or so people. The bigger it gets, the more unreliable it becomes. Cost-wise, it's a good starting point for management and security auditing, but not a long-term reliable product range.
