Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
My team uses Marketo for collecting and managing leads, sending emails and analytics. We've been using the system for almost 3 years and haven't used it much beyond these things until now. We're looking into more of the modules that can help us with our goals moving forward.
Pros
- Somewhat easy to learn for beginners or coming from another system.
- The integration with Salesforce or any CRM is ideal and fairly straight forward.
- Web behavior analytics.
Cons
- Improved customer experience. We've been having performance issues for 9 months with little explanation.
- Information on best practices for managing a global system with different regions.
The tools I've used in the past was for larger data sets, where we have 100 million records to comb through and modeling. Very robust that directly integrated into the full database not a CRM system. Overall, each of the marketing automation tools have their positives and negatives. it depends on the use. I thought these systems were easier to use but also the scope of responsibilities for these tools have also grown.
