Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use MasterControl for our documentation system and training on the job. We used to have our documentation system and training on paper, this used to cause confusion on where a document was and who had it and if an employee was trained or not. Since the use of MasterControl we are able to track the status of our documents and the training of our employees.

Usability

Quality Excellence is overall very great to use. MasterControl tracks every step an employee has made, so it if very easy to know if an employee has made a change in the system and when they did it. Some functions can be more simple and with less steps to perform.

MasterControl is well suited for managing your documents by document change tracking setup up for periodic review. It is also suited for trainee management and training status.
If you make and manage controlled copies you cannot save previous publish settings and need to personalize them everytime you make a new one.
