Matillion is used by the Technology group to build, manage, maintain and schedule data warehousing pipelines from multiple internal and external data sources to support business intelligence across the organization at all levels. Data sources range from SFTP to operational data stores to external APIs.
- Manage SQL transformations to capture and document business rules.
- Multiple components available to ingest quickly from various data sources.
- Great technical and customer support.
- Needs more components for piping data to external sources, e.g. enterprise service bus operations.
- Could have more out-of-the-box API connectors such as Workday, Okta, etc.
- No webhook support.
- Matillion has enabled us to empower analysts to generate insights that have significantly proved efficiency, improved executive decision-making, and provide a foundation for more informative data science.
