Overall Satisfaction with Oracle CX Marketing (formerly Oracle Marketing Cloud)

Maxymiser is used in our Digital Marketing department to help us increase leads. We AB test on the client side to determine how to best update UI, content, and layout.
  • Has a fast loading time on the client side, I haven't noticed any flashes of broken content.
  • The personalization selection is easy.
  • The test length calculator helps determine test length, which is a fantastic tool.
  • Adding URLs to include in the test can take a long time, having to re-include URLs on each attribute is frustrating.
  • The back of the house admin area is dated, and often confusing to understand what is being accomplished on each screen.
  • The reporting screen doesn't save options or report, having to rebuild reports is time consuming.
  • Having a measurable uplift on tests are great to bring to leadership.
  • Has increased leads on our web forms from 10-15%
  • Allows us to have confidence in making changes to our website instead of making guesses.
I have only used Maxymiser, but Target and Optimizely seem like strong contenders. Target has some great features which work well if you are on the AEM platform and use their Analytics as well. Optimizely seems to have server side testing down and that would be my go to if that was the main goal.
Maxymiser is good for client side testing and tests can be setup quickly for that purpose. The server side is not as strong but the roadmap for this is going a good direction.
If you are not a developer the WYSIWYG test editor will be helpful, but I would suggest having a front end developer review before publishing.
