Overall Satisfaction with McAfee Total Protection
I have McAfee at work and decided to purchase it for use at home as well. At work, between all the different emails you receive with links, or websites you visit, its easy for people to fall for a phishing attempt or potentially download a harmful file, especially those who are less tech savvy. McAfee helps block potential harmful websites and files, and ensures the safety of data and information across the organization. The automatic updates and constant monitoring are a reassurance that its always working in the background and up-to-date.

- User friendly
- Random McAfee popups can be annoying
- Sometimes it blocks websites I need to use for work as being potentially harmful
- Scans can sometimes take a while

- Norton and Malwarebytes
I haven't used Norton for a while, but when I did use it I felt that it slowed down my computer and had constant pop-ups, which were both equally frustrating and annoying. It was also very difficult to remove from my computer.
Malwarebytes is a great, straightforward program I've used for virus scanning. It's pretty bare bones but I think if you just want something to scan for viruses it gets the job done quickly and reliably.
In my opinion McAfee offers similar benefits as Norton but its more intuitive and doesn't impact system performance.
