Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft 365 Defender
Microsoft 365 Defender is used to monitor all incoming emails for our entire organisation. It does a great job of reducing the likelihood of phishing attempts landing in staff member's mailboxes.
The problem we were facing prior to implementing Microsoft 365 Defender was a significant amount of phishing attempts made towards senior members of staff. Our old platform did an okay job, but the platform needed major UI and security improvements. So we made a business case to switch to Microsoft 365 Defender. The platform contains a lot of incredibly useful tools that can be used to keep your organisation secure.

- Safe attachments, links and documents - When staff receive emails, 365 defender receives all attachments, links and documents to make sure they are safe.
- Realtime reports - We often review the reports to see whats going on and to try stay ahead of any potential threats.
- Allowing & blocking domains - This is a real life saver. Simple, effective and easy to use.

- The platform can be a little confusing to navigate around. Simplifying the journey for users would be great.
One of the challenges we faced with security prior to 365 Defender was reporting. In our old platform, there wasn't a detailed reporting feature in place that allowed us to review current threats in the organisation and look for any potential threats. Back then, we only had the capability to action threats that had already happened, which isn't enough anymore.
Our team now doesn't have to worry about too many phishing attempts landing in their mailbox anymore. 365 Defender does a great job at this.

365 Defender works with all 365 applications to protect the user while using them from any potential threats. This is one of the main reasons why Microsoft is a business standard. They provide everything a business needs in one place, one license.
We chose 365 Defender because our organisation uses all 365 applications, it made sense to use their security platform because it would work best with the applications they built.
