Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Defender for Cloud
We were earlier using the desktop version of Defender. Since all the applications are now moving to cloud and there has been many malware attacks recently, so the organization has shifted to Microsoft Defender for Cloud to safeguard the applications and the windows services. It blocks the applications providing firewall strengthened protection as well.

- It detects malwares from it's historical updates

- It sometimes couldn't detect the hidden malwares
- It need to have the latest updates or security attacks enabled

Environment is future proof as we're on AWS cloud and we have multiple aws cloud resources. With the upcoming new features of Microsoft, we may soon move to Azure cloud as well if it can integrate all it's products well. Currently, we're happy with using the Microsoft Defender for Cloud as it protects the sensible data from dangerous attacks
Microsoft Defender for Cloud has reduced the no. of threat alerts. Earlier we used to get so many attacks and the anti-virus was not upto date with the latest attacks. But now the percentage of threat alerts have reduced from 34% to 8% and that's a huge drop for a big sized organization
Since the Microsoft Defender for Cloud is cloud-based, it is easy to install and setup and no infrastructure is required. We're saving huge costs on infrastructure setup. Earlier, we were required to buy separate software licenses but now with Microsoft Defender for Cloud it's easy to setup and monitor the service usage across the machines.
Microsoft Defender for Cloud is definitely the choice with the latest market trend and attacks that are currently happening. Microsoft has been able to safe guard a lot after the recent serious attacks happening globally in the digital world. There is a trust in this software and with the latest updates and machine learning capabilities, Microsoft Defender for Cloud should be the choice.
