Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint

A lot of security efficiency comes from having a consistent policy engine and similar policy execution point across the fleet. Best to protect viruses and malware great at addressing weaknesses and fixing each one. The EDR function offers more tools for analysts to look, track and react to any cyberattack and it is really great.

  • GUI for new users is difficult to understand.
  • Microsoft Defender for Endpoint's removal of trojans and viruses often takes a long time.
  • False positive alerts label legitimate services as malware or danger.

  • It is already integrated in the OS.
  • It is best for protecting from viruses, finding weaknesses and fixing them.

It protects devices from viruses and attacks but sometimes gives false alerts and sometimes takes a long time to remove trojans and viruses. Other than that it's really great and I've had a good experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint.
