Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central

We use it as our main finance programme. We process sales and purchase invoices, as it has items this is helpful to analyse costs within the general ledger. As management accounts we use it to accrue our monthly costs. We use the purchase requisitions and have the Nhanced workflows switched on which allow it to go through the correct authentication.

  • It has helped reduce late payments
  • It has helped to ensure all invoices are approved by the correct chain of people
  • It has stopped others processing things where there is no authority
Really easy to use, user friendly. Its Reliable, when it goes wrong it’s usually easy to fix as the error message tells you what it is. The system looks nice and easy for non financial people to use. The new features with pivot tables is a great addition and the analytical feature.

It’s an excellent finance programme, it was relatively easy to install and get everyone started on it in the business. It allows access to certain things as it has roles and permissions. With holiday workflows it allows the approval of invoices to be delegated. It can be hard to see what had been accrued when the description doesn’t come through.
