Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations (Dynamics AX)

Microsoft Dynamics AX (the new version--Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations--is being implemented now) is our main ERP system used for monthly billing, accounting, payment management, and more.
  • ERP
  • Accounting
  • Product management
  • Service agreement / service order management
  • Warehousing
  • Large data volume processing
  • Mobile sites / apps
  • Complicated deployment
  • Fast mass billing for thousands of customers with invoice issuing
  • Advanced accounting with intercompany capabilities
  • Problematic processing for large data volumes
Dynamics AX is one of the most advanced ERPs out there. When your business needs grow, many other smaller ERPs struggle to cover them.
Dynamics AX is certainly a good fit for mid-sized companies that ideally could use the standard functionality out-of-the-box as much as possible.

It is not very good when processing a large volume of transactions, but presumably, it is also not made for that.

The latest version of Dynamics AX--Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations--has proven to be more complicated in terms of customization.
