Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Entra ID
We use it for everything for managing users, replacing Microsoft Entra ID, 2 factor authentication, RBAC, etc.
It is very good at being both very simple to use and very complex and nitty gritty when you need to buckle down to do something with it in regards to access.
It is also great that there are multiple ways to use it from the web ui or PowerShell.
We use it mostly as a replacement for Active Directory and have had no problems with it as well as for sharepoint access.

- The UI is always changing and is not always consistent with its changes
- Better documentation for powershell commands
- Make transitioning the admin portals with multiple accounts easier
- We have been able to increase of sales by showing clients that we have a platform that we can monitor
- We were able to save lots of data by setting up notifications when a key user account has a suspicious sign in
- We are able to save lots of technician hours through automated scripted user creation
Most of the identities we manage are on the cloud and we have only 1 client that is in a hybrid environment.
We usually create users in the admin portal and once they have been created we use Microsoft Entra ID to enable the 2FA and then assign them to the created security groups that we use to manage sharepoint site access.

The biggest change to the end user experience is the 2FA. Many users need guidance on how to set this up as it is confusing for them to have to download an additional app on the phone for this. It is also not helpful that there are many 2FA apps on the app markets that look similar to the Microsoft one but are not the correct app. It is also hard for them to understand that their email login is the same as their computer log in.
Only used Active Directory before and Microsoft Entra ID does the same job that we use use AD for but in a centralized cloud based environment. This makes it easier to manage from anywhere and it also saves us the cost of having to buy a physical server to put onsite.
