Overall Satisfaction with MIP Fund Accounting

MIP Fund Accounting is used for the finance department at my organization. The program addresses the recording of financial activities for the organization. We strive to integrate all aspects of our business to utilize MIP Fund Accounting effectively.

  • Journal vouchers
  • Attach documents and notes
  • Transitioning from MIP Classic to MIP Cloud
  • Closing the year/having to switch from multi-user to single user
  • Wait times for calls - call back feature has connection issues
  • Automated data entry into MIP for Accounts Payable
  • Improved transparency
  • Allowed AP to attach invoices and to collect them in real time for the annual audit
While we are still new to utilizing MIP (6-months), we have been able to improve our reporting.
MIP Fund Accounting is the only option for our business currently.

MIP Fund Accounting is well suited for program management, if utilized correctly. As a new user, the current program was not set up correctly and we are continuously learning new features of the program. It will take more time to develop an answer to this question.
