MIP Fund Accounting allows us to manage our diversified business lines across locations. By using the financial reporting functionality, we customize reporting that is viewed by the Board of Directors and C-Level Executives. In addition, customized reports are created for business line managers allowing them to focus on their individualized operations.
- Flexibility with Financial Reporting
- Integration of HR and Payroll functionality
- Importing of Journal Vouchers
- Integration of electronic timesheets.
- Date tracking of when changes are made to distribution codes. These are used heavily and without a history, auditors become frustrated with trying to reconcile costs to the General Ledger.
- Document scanning in HR could use a lot of work. My understanding is that you cannot scan documents and attach them to individual employees.
- Prior to MIP Fund Accounting, we outsourced our HR and Payroll processing needs. Our ROI, factoring in these costs in addition to the implementation costs, was favorable after 3 years.
