Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Momentum as the primary tool to record, transcribe, and analyze external calls - it is the main source of reference to prior meetings (record), note taker (transcribe) and we have set up a number of AI-based summaries that look for competition, pricing, strategy, product gaps and other signals in the tool

Pros

Transcribe consistently across multiple languages
Get concepts right in. transcriptions (esp. on specialized topics)
stay in the background on meetings without distracting

Cons

analysis at scale - the tools within momentum aren't very powerful
coaching of Sales people - lags behind Gong

Return on Investment

positive: very good value for money
positive: light weight, doesn't get in the way and very good at transcribing
negative: analysis at scale across calls (e..g, sales coaching) not possible in current fairly basic platform

Usability

it's great to use, customizable and the AI integration is very helpful. It's very good at translating between different languages and consistently gets nuances right.
Investing a bit in making the tool even less intrusive (e.g. not showing a dark / scary looking "recording" background , showing more transparency to non users - e.g., sharing a transcript) and making the default summaries more actionable (e.g., a "one page call briefing summary") + investing in tools to analyse trends across calls (not just individual calls) would make it perfect

Great lightweight tool that does a great job transcribing multiple languages
