If you need assistance keeping your trucking company in compliance, try Motive!

Overall Satisfaction with Motive

Motive is used as the system to keep my company drivers within compliance with HOS. It also assists my company with tracking fuel and maintenance.
  • keep driver in compliance with HOS rules and regulations
  • let the company know when there is a maintenance fault
  • assists the company with tracking fuel making it easier to report Qrtly IFTA
  • alert company of unsafe acts
  • I had issues with adding another company to my fleet to track them while they were driving for my company.
  • I had issues when I first started using Motive with the install. Motive assisted with a talk through method, but it still didn't work. I ended up taking the truck to the shop 3x before they figured out the problem. So, I would like to see Techs nearby to assist with technical issues.

As mentioned before, we started off rocky because my ELD was not properly working correctly, after several emails, pictures, and talking to several technicians still with no luck. The support team was available, but it wasn't enough to fix the problem my vehicle/eld was having. After been sent different cords and multiple trouble shooting steps with no luck, I finally took it to a maintenance shop 3x times for them to finally figure the issue out.
Motive is easy to use, and it help keeps my company in compliance with the FMCSA, federal, and state rules and regulations.

Motive is a pretty good system to use. It has many functions that can assist with making your business work for you. And I also like the fact that there is 24/7 assistance telephonically if needed. For example, I had two drivers using the same vehicle and for whatever reason I couldn't figure out why when one driver drove both drivers time would start. After contacting the help line through chat, they walked me through how to set up the drivers in the system and resolved it on the spot.
