Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use NAKIVO Backup & Replication for a specific use case being that we only use it for our sandbox environment. We did want to have some backup possibilities in place for when we felt we needed it, but we didn't want to go all the way to a big huge competitor. NAKIVO serves its purpose well.

Pros and Cons

Easy setup and operation.
VM is downloadable and working well.

User interface could look more modern.
No real downsides, works fine.

Return on Investment

Price is right for our purpose. We do not use in in production environment but still needed.

The questions I did have were answered quite quickly. You probably do not need support a lot as it is quite easy to use.

For our use case the product is good. I am unsure if scaling to a much bigger environment would work as well as some competitor products. Reporting is sufficient in this product, although, as we use it not for our big production environment, we do not have to deal with all the big compliance rules so reporting is more of a technical purpose.

Good product for non-big-enterprise environments for doing your backups
