Overall Satisfaction with Navisworks
I have used Navisworks to look at electrical drawings and to further clarify the location of specific lights during a project. Our company is a lighting vendor so I have used Navisworks to communicate with our contractors to clarify where our product is to be placed within the building. I find it incredibly useful especially when there has been confusion in the past about lighting placement and what is required.
- Easy navigation through virtual representations of projects
- Integration with other programs
- Easy to create and model
- The take-offs work really well and can be very quick and easy
- Clash Detection, which is incredibly helpful
- There is no mobile app
- Overkill of toolsets certain times
- The ability to navigate through a virtual model of the project we are working on
- It has made project management much easier in my position
