Overall Satisfaction with NeoLoad

I've used it for load balance testing for user scenarios and api limit and stress testing.

Pros

  • You can build automated testing flows
  • You can hit apis with specific data requests
  • You can manage variables and data sets for your tests

Cons

  • NeoLoad is highly customizable. If anything having a faster way to load general testing templates or choose them from pre-made libraries might be helpful.
  • Positive. By stress testing, we were able to determine resources needed to launch services to the public with minimal down time.
Building automated/stress tests by hand is tedious and neoLoad makes it much easier.
There are great online resources available.
In being flexible to meet all needs, it is very bare bones by design, but this could be a considered a feature and not a bug.
