Newswire is a significantly easy platform to use. It is seamless and very self explanatory. And, as mentioned there is excellent customer support. Even the most technically challenged will find the step by step process easy to use. Loading a press release and accompanying image is really easy and quick. Payment is secure and easy. It is always possible to reach someone to support you.
I have used a few competitors of Cision - I choose not to mention them here - and while they provide a great solution, Newswire is just easier, simple and they have much better customer support - and when you run into issues the level of customer support does become a game changer

Their user support and friendliness of their team is unmatched in the industry. I also appreciate the fact that there is after hours support and that makes the world of difference
1 - Only one person from our media engagement team uses Newswire and because the process to upload a release is so easy and seamless you do not need to have masses of people accessing the system. It is a stress free and very easy process. Less people using the system means they can focus on other tasks.
1 - We only have one person working /accessing newswire. They need to be able to follow a basic and intuitive system that provides a landscape view of the entire distribution process. These people need to be able to understand various vertical markets, approval processes and team work - and Newswire supports all of this.

Simply put, they are a great team, excellent support and a platform that is so seamless to use. Great reporting content, can do attitude and a solution / product that works. They are an established company and there are many 'new companies' out there claiming to offer a better service but they lack the depth and capabilities of the Newswire platform.

I spent a significant amount of time researching competitors to Newswire and selected Newswire because of their great and easy to use platform and superb customer support - they are simply great people. Also, if I need after hours support and need to work on the weekend I have always had a response from the team. Other competitors make you wait till the next business day.
Nothing really stands out other than one area that I always focus in on, Newswire could do with a few more vertical distribution markets that we could select that would enable us to reach key and relevant media. I think that there are one or two groups missing that could be added in and this is an easy fix.
Customer support is one of Newswire's key unique selling points. I have worked with many of the other platforms and Newswire stands out head and shoulders above the rest. In fact, I am still awaiting one of their competitors to call me back - literally! Answers are readily and speedily available from real people - not bots - and they always have the correct answer the first time round!

I did not purchase premium support because i did not believe that my consultancy needed it. However, if you are an agency that believes you need this level of support then I feel certain that you cannot go wrong. The team at Newswire will have you covered! and they care, that is crucial!
It was after hours and I had a release that needed to go out to the market the following day. I needed to get the release to a key vertical market and needed to have sight of the publications that the release would be going to so I could assess if the vertical was appropriately covered. It was no problem for the support team, they sent me publication lists to review. The release went out successfully the next day.
