Overall Satisfaction with Nexternal
We use Nexternal's eCommerce platform solely for our web store. It syncs seamlessly with many tools that we use at Foxen making marketing, sales, customer satisfaction, analytics, compliance, and customer security a breeze.
- I have complete control over the store, right down to the most minute detail. I can control shipping methods, discounts, coupons, customer security, compliance, and the list goes on. If you can think of it, Nexternal has already come up with a solution.
- It's a very secure platform for our customers. In this day and age, uploading personal information on the web can be a bit nerve wracking, but our customers are protected by Nexternal's system. It allows our customer to update their personal account without having to share sensitive information over the phone or email.
- It syncs perfectly with our marketing, social media, and sales tools. We use Mail Chimp, VinoVisit, VinNow, UPS, FedEx, Amazon, and ShipCompliant. Nexternal communicates perfectly with all of them, making my life so much easier. Information has to be input once and it syncs everywhere. This saves me time and reduces error.
- Honestly, I can't think of one! The only thing Nexternal doesn't sync up with that we use is GSO, but that is a small west coast shipping service, so I wouldn't expect them to integrate with them.
- We have very little cart abandonment because Nexternal shows customer's shipping prices immediately, and we can be competitive with our shipping prices due to Nexternal allowing us to show Real Time Rates from UPS and FedEx.
- Our sales have almost quadrupled since we started using Nexternal. It's easy to use, clean, concise, professional looking, detailed, and allows all the modern amenities that online shoppers look for these days like social sharing and a cart that is visible the whole time the customer is shopping.
- Kreck
Everywhere Kreck fell short or failed, Nexternal succeeded. I love all the tools at my disposal and I know my support system at Nexternal is always available and they bend over backwards to make sure I have my questions answered.
Using Nexternal
3 - I am the primary user, but if I am unavailable to assist customers with their needs, I have two team members who are available to help out when needed.
3 - I am connected to Nexternal at the hip. My entire day is spent working with the program. I have our Tasting Room Manager and our Wine Club Ambassador available and trained to help out customers with order questions or needs if I am not available.

- Amazon Store
- Social Media Sharing
- Marketing and eCommerce Analytics
- eCommerce tracking and analytics through Mail Chimp. I can target customers based on their past orders so I don't spam them with products they aren't interested in.
- We are looking to expand and have Nexternal as our primary point of sale not only online, but in the tasting rooms as well because they can offer a mobile POS.
Nexternal Implementation
- Implemented in-house
Change management was minimal

- Starting out it can be intimidating, but once you see the layout and how the program works, it's a breeze. I know the system like the back of my hand.
- Setting up new products is SO easy, they have an excel document that you can upload with multiple products on the spreadsheet. After uploading all your new products are in the store and only need minor adjustments before having them go live.
- If you have a lot of shipping restrictions, like we do in the wine industry, there are a lot of designations you will have to make, but once you get used to it, it's not bad at all and you will grow to appreciate how much control you have over the system.
Yes - Beautifully! I'd say 1/3 of our sales are from mobile users.
