Overall Satisfaction with NextGen Healthcare EHR

It is used for Primary Care as well as some behavioral health usage in an integrated care setting.

  • Specific State Requirements
  • Broader Mobile Platform
  • Especially in the BH space, revenue is getting tighter (lots unpaid/uncovered), while costs go up. New bells and whistles are great, but we need to meet basic requirements first and not go broke doing it.
In a limited fashion. For the cost, it has to be used judiciously to be cost effective.
Primary Care would rate higher, but BH has some issues, especially in relation to State specific requirements that end up being client based customizations or another expense to meet.

Best for high performing primary care offices. If you are wanting a low knowledge investment system, NextGen does not fit the mold as it requires an investment from staff to use appropriately.
