Overall Satisfaction with Nortridge Loan System

Northridge Loan System is being used in our organization as our new solution to handle loan management as we are migrating off of an old antiquated system. By using Northridge Loan System we are able to shed some old IT infrastructure that cost us extra per year to maintain. The product spans a majority of our business and our goal is to use this platform to manage our customer's auto loans for the next several years.

Pros

  • It can be deployed in the cloud making it easier to implement.
  • There are many different options for implementation in our IT environment including on-prem.
  • It can integrate with our Active Directory allowing for easy user management.

Cons

  • In some instances, we have noticed there are some latency issues when reading and writing from SQL databases as new code bases get released.
  • API library upgrades could be tested a bit better in each new release.
  • Cloud implementation could be a bit more streamlined.
  • It can be deployed in the cloud.
  • It can be integrated with on-premise infrastructures such as Active Directory
  • We are able to migrate from our old software to Northridge Loan System easily
  • One pro to Northridge Loan System is that we can migrate off of old on-premise servers that are out of compliance.
  • With Northridge Loan System being compatible in the cloud we can deploy it within AWS promoting for long term scalability
  • We are able to manage and organize all loan-related data easily and more streamlined with Northridge Loan System
We chose Nortridge Loan System to handle our loan management going forward to due to the fact that we can implement this crucial business function in the cloud. Unlike Shaw Systems, which is completely on-premise, we have to manage many aspects of this software for the business from servers to segregated networks, and backups to ensure availability. With Northridge Loan Systems being able to be implemented in the cloud, we can ensure higher availability to our loan servicing teams and increased insurance that data will be safe with the DR procedures surrounded in the cloud.

Some areas where Northridge Loan Systems is best suited is for mid to large-sized companies who are handling thousands of loan applications on a day-to-day basis. Since this program has a sizeable IT infrastructure, this software is best suited for companies that have a mid to large-size IT team with scalable infrastructure. I would not recommend Northridge Loan System to smaller-sized companies with a low volume of loans as it can be a mid-complex to manage and maintain when there are other solutions out that cater to smaller businesses.
