Overall Satisfaction with OnBoard Board Management Software

We use the OnBoard Management Software as an online portal to maintain all of our Board of Trustee documents and facilitate meeting. The OnBoard software allow us to provide agenda and supporting documentation to our Board members prior to the meeting. We can all and remove documentation at any time. We also use the portal to archive all of the board meeting materials. We use the portal for onboarding new Board members. The Resources section of the software is used to keep all of our handbook, policies, and documents. We use the signature signing tool to sign have our Chair and Secretary sign digitally. The survey tools are used for voting and RSVP information.

Pros

  • Ease of use for negativing the software.
  • Assigning permissions to specific areas/documents within the portal.
  • Customer Service

Cons

  • Would like to have members be able to sign surveys.
  • The Dashboard should allow us to post documents and not just a link.
  • Agenda building
  • Archived documents in the Resources area
  • Surveys
  • The portal is used by 99% of our board members.
  • The software was cheaper than the program we used before by almost 50%.
  • The software is easier to use than our previous program and therefore I spend less time on administration.
We selected OnBoard for the following reasons:
- Easy of use - Easier to use than previous software in permission and adding and deleting information as well an archiving documents
- Cost - The OnBoard portal was almost 50% less expensive than our previous software
-Features- Agenda building, Archiving documents, Resource center, Surveys, Digital signatures.

The OnBoard software is easy to use from an administrator side and from the user side. It is a great tool to keep all of your documents in one place. We use the portal for all of Board of Trustees meetings and materials. Board members have access to the portal at all times. The portal allows us to notify the members when new information has been posted. The OnBoard original package includes everything that we need. The company is constantly making upgrades to the software. There are additional features you can purchase as a bundle. I would like to be about to purchase special features independently. Other than that, the OnBoard Portal is a wonderful product and has served our institution well.
