OneStream is used for consolidated management reporting of actual results, rolling forecasting and reporting processes linked to consolidated reporting results, including financial close accounts reconciliations, task manager, sustainability, Tax, legal entity, Capex and supply chain non-financial reporting.
The business need we address with OneStream is to create a full stack of performance management reports where reported numbers align with the financial management reporting structure and various angles can be created in a consistent manner and additional dimensions can be added to the reported data for the right business insights.
The scope of our use case is full management performance reporting, integrated with our financial planning as well as our operational business planning and supply chain processes.

OneStream combines functionality that is normally spread over multiple solutions with other vendors, and provides an integration that previously could only be achieved via complicated technical structures to integrate and combine solutions for actual reporting and planning on multiple topics.
As reporting and planning processes always need to reconcile to the reported results in consolidated reporting, and to make this happen the structures used in related reporting processes always need to replicate the financial reporting structures, being able to combine all of this in one platform and still being able to customize to your own company needs provides a tremendously powerful solution. The ability to also integrate financial close functionality extends the value of the platform, and new process development is fast and offers more and more options that could previously only be achieved by purchasing separate software solutions.
