Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Content Management System

Website management, website optimization, contact management and campaign management.

Pros

  • The content management for the website optimization works really well.
  • The modules are easy to use.
  • Edit pages are really easy to manipulate, very straightforward user interface to keep everything working well.

Cons

  • Nothing off the top of my head that can think. Sometimes you can click on something by mistake and then you end up going back, but overall it's a more like user issue rather than system issues. So nothing I can think of off the top of my head.
  • I think all the content in one platform, the ability to share content between pages and reuse blocks for multiple users at the same time makes it really easy to collaborate on projects and work together.
Yes, we've got the CMS system, that's for the content management. We also have the CMP, which we use the DAM for to synchronize all the image assets from the CMP, for the CMS and that's save our time because we're updating a lot of images a lot of the time and doing that with the brand team and the CMP platform means less work for us in the CMS system.
As you can click on something by mistake and then you end up going back to a place you didn't need to be, then you've lost some work. But again, that's more down to me clicking badly than the system being bad, but it's something I've done a few times and can get a little bit annoying, a very minor issue.
