We are currently building out our website structure into Optimizely Content Management System from Drupal and combining what is 35 different websites into one mega structure built on variable design modules to keep branding consistency across the board. We currently suffer from platform updates and keeping brand guidelines across changing materials. doing so is allowing us to translate and update things quicker and easier in a more manageable way

Portfolio Solution

With the current use of the CMS builder we are extensively driving the platform rebuild of multiple companies into one location which also utilizes the DAM, and once launched there with be a suite of testing using both the analytical database and the A/B testing tools that they offer to tweak the sites to their region and customers needs

time improvements mostly as currently we use 3 different tools on the Drupal platform just to hold it together. with this we are able to keep all of that in one platform and it is saving us from logging in and out of secure platform constantly.

Time to Value

Getting started was easy but the getting up and running is something we are still doing, we have taken the approach of deciding all of the main layouts and implementations before designing platforms to that we can address all the needs ahead of time and then slot content in where needed.

Usability

We are enjoying using it, there is plenty of documentation for when we get stuck and when in those harder times there is a team that we can ask for clarification. in terms of building assets its pretty straight forward if you are use to building sites from code normally and this just make things a little easier to piece together.

Hotjar, Drupal and WordPress

Optimizely Content Management System takes the best bit of previous platforms and simplifies them without removing the more advanced features but not making the necessary to get things going. allowing for any user to jump in and start working is a massive help but empowering power users to take advantage of all its features.

If you want to build a website quickly there are plenty of ways to do so with some great examples and plenty of support both from the company and in the forums. if you want to build a more complex structure you can but be ready to spend the time to build exactly what you need as a solid foundation goes a massive way before building out content and making those choices early and sticking with them helps
