Overall Satisfaction with Optimizely Feature Experimentation

We use Optimizely Feature Experimentation for feature flagging services and ultimately to hide or show upcoming feature implementations based on the values these flags return. We also built out audiences and experiments to finely tune how we want to serve these features. We then look at the results and make business decisions on these.
  • Feature flagging
  • Segmenting
  • Quickly updating
  • Providing metrics
  • Initial setup
  • Onboarding
  • Experimentation
  • Delivering quickly
  • Confidence
  • Scaling
Feature experimentation is much more robust and allows more granular control over the decisions you want to make. While Optimizely Feature Experimentation is nice and can be delivered via Optimizely Feature Experimentation's UI, its still not ideal because its brittle and can cause underlying performance issues in the code.

Did Optimizely Feature Experimentation live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Would you buy Optimizely Feature Experimentation again?

Yes

When delivering incremental features without slowing down the process, Optimizely Feature Experimentation can shine. However, for targeting more sensitive information, it might not be the best solution because all of the information is sent down to the client and evaluated there.
