Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Analytics Server (formerly Oracle BI Foundation Suite)

To look at internal usage data and figure out new ways to optimize the user experience. This helps us solve the problems inherent with siloed data and to create one unified pane of glass for all of our reporting needs, whether it be to executives or presenting to the product organization.

  • Providing easy to use data visualization options
  • Building report ready dashboards that update automatically

  • Design is a little archaic/dated
  • Ease of use could be better
  • Missing some functions present in newer platforms

Oracle Analytics Server is really well suited to being able to build a wide variety of dashboards that can be detailed enough to communicate deep insights, while also being visually well prepared enough to be ready to present to an executive level team. It struggles with outside of the norm visualizations and more complex scenarios.
