Overall Satisfaction with Oracle BPM Suite

We use Oracle BPM Suite in the preparation of documentation related to our projects. The BPMN notation opens up a channel of common understanding between our engineers and the engineers of our clients. Quite apart from the Oracle BPM capabilities for diagramming business flows, the tool allows the use of real-time analytics to impress our clients.
  • Business flows under the BPMN 2 notation.
  • Real-time Analytics
  • Import flows from Oracle databases
  • Internal documentation
  • The price may be higher than other similar tools
  • Lack of support to import from non-Oracle databases
  • Documenting a flow to a client allows communicating the intention of a development and thereby minimizing changes that could delay the calendar.
  • Simulating macro processes allows you to visualize at an early stage the figures of a project in order to better manage resources.
The presentation of the diagrams that the tool can generate is ostentatious and very striking. If you are going to work with Oracle database, the tool allows you great integration capabilities. Bizagi is a very good alternative, although in simulation and in final results Oracle has the advantage.
If you are thinking of using Oracle BPM Suite to import flows from a database other than Oracle, you may not be able to do so. The real time factor is quite useful and gives the tool a competitive advantage over similar tools like Bizagi.
