Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Dyn Managed DNS

Dyn DNS allows us to automate (via the API) creation and management of all types of DNS records and with their scalable infrastructure, we never become unreachable due to DNS.

Pros

  • Great API to work with.

Cons

  • Would be great to integrate with Route 53.
  • We have survived outages using Dyn that we would have suffered before Dyn.
Dyn got through a major outage back in 2015 when some other providers suffered from amplification DDOS attacks.
Fast and correct responses are to be had.
Dyn would get a 10 if their documentation was improved.
Dyn works great for us to do high volume, low latency, low TTL DNS queries.
