Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Dyn Managed DNS

We use Managed DNS for our primary public DNS for 4 domains. Our entire organization, which spans across Canada, relies on the service.
  • Very easy user interface to manage DNS.
  • Reliable. We have never had any downtime ever.
  • DNS records are updated and propagated very fast.
  • We have been Oracle customers for 25 years before Dyn. It is very encouraging now that Oracle is part of Dyn.
  • Some more help on newer technologies like DMARC, and specific TXT records that are not common.
  • Moving from the basic service to the Managed $100/month service was a bit of a shock, but since we've grown we had no choice. Our DNS hits were growing too fast.
We like the fact that this is now an Oracle product. We keep GoDaddy for certificates and Dyn for DNS.
The best part about Managed DNS is that YOU NEVER NEED SUPPORT!! It always works. I did need help setting up a new domain, but my problem was resolved quickly. Thanks!
The basic user interface is perfect for a beginner and the advanced interface is easy enough to understand, but very powerful at the same time.
It is very affordable for a reliable product.
