Oracle Linux hosting Oracle Apps/Databases.
  • Running Oracle DB or Apps on Virtual Machines OVM.
  • Live kernel Patching , Ksplice save a lot of downtime for customers.
  • Stability of OS.
  • Addressing open bugs ASAP.
  • Oracle Linux on OVM excellent ROI.
  • Oracle Linux on vmware too costly.
- Best integration with Oracle Stack and saves license cost.
- Single vendor.
Still a scope of improvement on turnaround time.
