Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Linux

I have installed Oracle 11,12 on Oracle Linux for banking core software DB and the only problem was getting updates from the source because of restrictions.

  • The main data base of many banks are on it and running very wel
  • Good performance
  • More stable than HP-UX that i was using
  • Good support and integration with Oracle
Not user friendly and do not have a good support and documents in compare with Oracle Linux
Because once i had an issue i have access to tons of documents and forums to solve my issue.

Core Banking database is on oracle linux and also all the online banking software are on Oracle Linux because of integration between DB and app servers.
