Overall Satisfaction with Orum

I have used Orum in my past role as the main dialling tool for a B2B lead gen agency. We found that traditional click to dial tools were slowing the team down and leading to not getting through enough data. We needed a tool that was going to allow our team to not only spend more time dialling, but doing so efficiently. A tool with additional features, like reporting and analytics was also important as our current reporting tools were spread across different systems leading to bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

Pros

  • Speed to dial
  • Data organisation
  • Reporting
  • Call tracking / annotation
  • Salesfloor
  • User management

Cons

  • SMS functionality
  • CRM integrations at time is a bit spotty
  • Number rotation could be better (a lot of repeat digits which makes numbers look similar)
  • Saw a massive increase in number of meetings booked per client per month
  • Saw an improvement in reps hitting quota
  • Due to being able to work data faster, led to higher performance and retention on current clients
Very easy to pick up and use. I was involved in the trial phase all the way through to implementation, and actually defined the internal Orum process for the company.

Given my involvement I was very hands on and involved in training the bulk of the team, and found that many if not all users picked the tool up very quickly and it was very easy to document the process due to the usability.

The only sticking point tended to be the CRM integration for loading in contacts to lists as this was a little bit fiddly, however the actual tool is super easy to use.
  • Nooks
  • Aircall
  • Salesloft
Orum felt the easiest to use. Aircall and Salesloft function better as single dial diallers, the parallel features either don't exist or function quite poorly.

There are less differentiators between Orum and Nooks, but I found that Orum's UI, and reporting gelled better with our use case, and I found that it was easier to pick up for the team members.

Do you think Orum delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Orum's feature set?

Yes

Did Orum live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Orum go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Orum again?

Yes

Orum is perfectly suited to any company that has a large team of SDRs hitting the phones regularly. The way it utilises data and lists is immense, and the power of it's parallel dialler means any high volume sales team is going to thrive using it.

I found that the salesfloor feature is super useful for team morale and coaching, especially with the live listen feature.

It also helps with in-team competitions, as all users can see and use the statistics, helping to drive motivation and achieve better results.
