Orum is current integrated with our primary sales/prospecting tools, SFDC, and outreach. With Orum in place, we were able to maximize an SDR/ISR productivity by three or four times. On overage, our ISR team makes about 70-100 calls a day resulting in between four and six conversations. Starting with Orum on day one with their proof of concept, our ISR was able to get ~15 people on the phone while securing a meeting. At the peak of the trial, the SDR leveraging the trial hit over 300 dials, had 30 conversations, and secured a meeting from a list of less than warm leads.

Very easy to use and simple to integrate. The process of moving from a trial to paid customer is virtually nothing.
I have not needed to interact with their support team yet, so I cannot give a valid response. So far, their tool is simple and straightforward to use.

My SDR Team uses it for inbound and outbound efforts. Our product's market is highly commoditized; there's not much opportunity for an evangelical, "Challenger" sales motion. On the contrary, we've seen more success with putting out larger nets and trying to raise awareness so that we get invited to the party when they go to RFP once every 5 years. Before Orum, we had zero success. Now we have met and gotten the ear of millions of dollars worth of future pipeline, and about a million of current pipeline. To say it's wildly successful is an understatement.
  • Our Customer Success Manager, Matt, is my best CSM across all of my sales tech stack.
  • It does exactly what it's supposed to. We spend more time talking than we do dialing. Unreal.
  • Nice Salesloft/Outreach/Salesforce integrations make it easy to use.
  • Nothing glaring
  • I highly recommend dialing via cell (an easy option), versus dialing through browser, for best reception and call quality. But they recommend this. Not a "weakness."
If you don't have direct phone numbers, Orum is less helpful. Other than that, it's a must-buy. If you sell to SMB and have a ton of targets, a must-buy. If you sell to enterprise and have 10-30 ABM accounts you're going after, but you don't know who your desired/perfect key player is at those accounts, you must buy it and call 100 people at each account. If you want to mask your dials (like, change the phone number so that you can dial multiple times a day without them seeing it on called ID), it's a must-buy.

  • Amazing results. We have always struggled with outbound, due to our commoditized, mature market. Now we are crushing.
We looked at other tools like Connect-And-Sell. Orum is the only one with such a low cost, due to using AI as opposed to overseas call centers.
I typed it in a previous question's answer: of my entire tech stack, Matt Godwin is my top CSM by far. Daisy on the Sales side is wonderful, as well.

I'm using Orum as an individual contributor to help with my outbound sales prospecting efficiency. At the time of this writing, we are in the midst of the COVID-19 shutdown, and starting sales conversations is difficult. Orum helps by increasing my potential outreach (and syncing with Outreach).
  • Power dialing
  • Syncing real-time call data with Outreach.
  • Leaving automated voicemails.
  • None so far. For my use case, it's an ideal (necessary?) tool to increase prospecting activity.
I use Outreach for outbound prospecting and my sales leadership tracks my call/email numbers in the Outreach reports. I have not found another dialer tool that has a direct API connection with Outreach. Orum allows me to make more calls in less time and ensure that my progress is visible to management.

  • My personal ROI has been approximately a 100% increase in the number of calls I can make in a given amount of time, vs. calling directly from Outreach before (roughly 50 calls per hour to 100+). The increased potential for business is worth the cost of admission for me.
PhoneBurner is a good dialer as well and might be a better fit for a different use case, but as of my writing this review, they do not have a direct integration with Outreach. They allow a third-party (PieSync) to make certain "if-than" connections, but PhoneBurner didn't make it clear if there was a way to automatically log calls in Outreach. Plus PieSync brings its own monthly cost. Orum is a bit more expensive but well worth it for me.
So far, the engineering support has been great and they are open to feedback, which is great to see from a young company.
