Overall Satisfaction with Pardot

Pardot is currently being used primarily by Marketing. We do a lot of drip campaigns, form completion pieces, emails and landing pages. We also have a Pardot form handler on our website that captures information and sends it directly to Sales as hot leads. We do a lot of reporting on our efforts which is passed throughout the company but Pardot is not integrated with our SugarCRM so we are the only department who goes in and use Pardot to use it. The main business problem it addresses is mass communication to our prospects and clients as well as our landing page/form fill information capturing.

Pros

  • Pardot's Customer Support is out of this world! They are very quick to respond and provide information that can be followed by anyone, no matter how familiar they are with the product. They also have a great online library of materials that is easy to search for answers.
  • Pardot's email, landing page and form builders are very intuitive. The design of their platform overall is very easy to use and intuitive to learn.
  • The reporting that Pardot provides on each effort is very helpful and in depth giving us what we need to easily assess campaigns that are working.

Cons

  • Pardot has a great page for each email for reporting but we would like to be able to export this as a pdf for sharing purposes.
  • Our SugarCRM is extremely customized and we are unable to integrate Pardot with it at this point. This may not be a flaw of Pardot's but it is still frustrating. I will say they have been very supportive of our limitations and have provided great assistance to work around this though.
  • Easy assessment of hot leads from our form fills on our website.
  • Easy tracking of what our prospects and clients are interested in as we monitor what they are looking at within our campaigns.
  • Increased employee efficiency as hot leads are automatically updated, provided and logged.
I can see the cost of Pardot being a bit high for smaller companies but for our company it is perfect. It is difficult to use as a non-integrated platform as there is a lot of manual work but it is manageable and the data provided is extremely helpful and valuable to our marketing campaigns. We have particularly loved the automated piece from our website form handler. The hot leads who fill out the form are automatically sent to our sales team as hot leads.

Using Pardot

Pardot has made evaluating our campaigns and tracking prospects and clients very easy. It has a very intuitive design and provides very valuable data to our company that would otherwise not be available. Their support team is amazing and no matter the question or obstacle, they can help find a solution to meet our needs.
