Pardot is the solution for all prospect management problems and for massive email marketing campaigns in general, I count on Partdot every day for multiplex uses ranging from simple campaign creation to complex lead management. I like Pardot because we are currently using Salesforce and using these two tools is like using only one because it is very easy to work with both.

I want to start mentioning some features that make Pardot the best option on the market, I mainly recommend this tool because at present it is necessary that all the tools I use can work together, my use of Salesforce is of vital importance and I have the possibility Being using these two tools that have surprising integration for many people, I feel that it is my duty to recommend Pardot to everyone and I recommend it without thinking twice.

My organization is using Pardot to track website visitor behavior and score leads based on their engagement. Being integrated with Sales Cloud directly, it enables us to sync lead, and contact data bi-directionally between platforms. We are also leveraging B2B Marketing Analytics platform for reporting purposes as it provides more capabilities compared to default reporting capabilities of Sales Cloud.
  • Out-of-box lead scoring capability is great to start with lead scoring
  • Engagement components can surface prospect engagement data in Sales Cloud
  • Implementation is more straightforward compared to other Marketing Automation tools
  • Some automation capabilities are limited (for example: you cannot check if email A was delivered and trigger an automation)
  • New email and landing page builder capabilities need future enhancements
  • API capabilities need to be improved
The platform in general is easy-to-use and it doesn't require a deep understanding in Marketing Automation. A marketer with no background in Marketing Automation can learn the platform in 6-8 weeks with 2 hour training per week. Pardot handles lead management, scoring and visitor tracking easily. While out-of-box reporting capabilities in Pardot is not great, B2B Marketing Analytics can be used to join multiple datasets and prepare custom dashboards.

The Digital Marketing team also uses Salesforce Marketing Cloud social Studio as a post schedule and monitoring tool, as well as tracking different KPI's regarding brand reputation, benchamrking with other competitors, influencers performance, etc.

  • Measure the traffic in the different social networks, as well as the response rate, average response time and other relevant metrics
  • Configure automation rules to order the work of those who must interact with the customer
  • Better reports on the performance of agents in charge of customer interaction
  • Improve some instagram features, i.e., tags on stories, reels, etc.
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Social Studio is a very good option for publishing administration, following digital marketing campaings performance and results, social listening an monitoring your brand image in social media and other digital media. It has good features for engagement, but falls a little short for customer service. I'm surre it would work much better integrated with Salesforce as a CRM, but we use another CRM platform and it was not possible to integrate.

It also allows me to monitor the digital behavior of my customers and capture referring sources so that I can make more informed decisions about my marketing campaigns. It also helps my customers by recommending products and services and triggering personalized messages, which helps me to provide a better customer experience. The A/B testing algorithms have helped me to a large extent to optimize my campaigns for better performance.

We use Salesforce Marketing Cloud Interaction Studio to track our customers expertise match to sales as an helicopter view for Unified User profile while been developing software product for them to fit with demand (continuous product improvement). I makes us and our partners available to consider the product focus we need to achieve to get the solution which satisfy clients needs and improve leads convertion rate. The main problem it is used for is management tool for Digital Marketing to i mprove customer retention through use of web analytics and email campaighn management. Salesforce Marketing Cloud Interaction Studio is great visualisation tool which is web campaighn focused but has a huge space to grow once big data experience will be counted. So, it is very helpfull for our digital marketing (web, emails) but not has feed of analytics if you use cold calling practice mostly (separate solution in Marketing Cloud) and has no solid UpWork API integration (no gateway for mass hire, only custom integrations).

Salesforce Marketing Cloud Interaction Studio IS is primarly focused on Digital Marketing. It is less appropriate if you work is connected with key accounts activity. If you are serviece company you could be missing integrations with marketplaces like Zillow, Corporate UpWork account for sending campaignes (offers), only web tracking of prospects actions via 3-d party add ons. If you are considering AI support in choosing right promo activity - you could be missing enough you own historical data to feed to algorhytm to get sustainable forecast (or even binary). So Artificial Intelligence engine is for large companies only or till the era of "faceless" Big Data will come true.

Salesforce Audience Studio essentially gives the company the chance to get to know their customers on a deeper level to create proper segments to market to the correct audience. It basically gives us the tool, information, and data to target our audience segment for a specific product or promotion. We use it on a daily basis throughout three of the companies that I work for.

Honestly, almost any mid to large scale company can use this to target their appropriate audience segmentation. I could see this being used in numerous fields from products, storefronts, editorial outlets, etc.

It solves lots of problems for our business such as 1. Easy to create reports, save those reports and transfer this data from salesforce to SalesLoft. 2. We can easily see a number of demo schedules delivered by the sales team. 3. It is a great tool to do lead, account, contact, and sales opportunity management.

Additionally, We can help our customers as well to understand their problem statement and where they want to go with their business. We are able to help and manage the growth potential of our customers through this product. This product is very adaptive in case opportunities increase and also it keeps track of all the opportunities which we got over a period of time.

This single dashboard, in my opinion, is one of the main reasons to make use of the platform.

It helps us in effectively manage our leads, opportunity, and contacts across our marketing team. It helps us keep track of lead/opportunity lifecycle and their activities across. Other minor use cases are revenue forecasting and demand/supply management using the dashboards provided.

Marketing cloud data studio facilitates our strong inbound marketing campaigns and we have been very successful. Using Engagement Studio, we plan a customer "journey" through our marketing engagements and lifecycle tracking. Now, the customer touchpoints have been clearly identified to us for us to have very targeted actions along that journey with the customers. Through this implementation, we have increased our conversion percentages and actionable intelligence on the customer flow which allows us to build strong future campaigns.

Attempting to create a full picture of customer journeys, which would give a base of finding future connections and analysis on. We'd ultimate wanted to use the tool in conjuction with others (Ad tools, CMS', Split testing) to help optimise experiences to customers to help increase conversions and measure further analysis on the results.

Assuming you've got an all digital environment , implementing and day to day use of Salesforce Audience Studio is a lot easier. If you've got a split digital\non digital environment, then your implementation could well be made that much more troublesome, making a full 360 customer view that much more difficult to achieve - which will impact the benefits you're able to gain from using the product. With the benefit of hindsight, implementation should be approached from a "programmatic first" perspective, as having programmatic integration points makes the whole journey that much more palatable.

We use Salesforce to pull reports of current and past clients to gauge their experience with the bank and how we can improve and stand up against competitors. We are able to integrate Salesforce with other software we use in order to send emails and surveys to clients, keeping in mind those who unsubscribed to emails and communications.

Very well suited for reporting and integrating with other applications, including GetFeedback and Pardot. Also integrates well with Qualtrics for more robust reporting.

We use Salesforce Audience Studio to collect data from our customers at multiple channel touchpoints. The technology and AI that powers it has helped gather some interesting insights about our audience and marketing campaigns which let us better optimize our campaigns and return on investment. I feel that this unified dashboard is something that makes using the platform worthwhile.

I would recommend the Salesforce Audience Studio platform to users of the Salesforce ecosystem who are used to the complexity of the platform in general. I wouldn't recommend it to users who are new to the dynamics given the learning curve of the platform in general. I feel it is better suited for bigger teams too.

Salesforce Audience Studio was being used specifically by our Marketing department to automate + track posting and connections to our Company's social media accounts.
  • Simple and efficient UI
  • Increased efficiency through connections to Salesforce ecosystem
  • Configurability to ability to host multiple team workspaces within same platform
  • Integration with non-Marketing Cloud MAPs could be more seamless
  • Actionable customer insight could be difficult to gather with faulty/incomplete datasets
  • Required Einstein in order to access full potential of data science insights
I would be much more willing to recommend Salesforce Audience Studio to a B2C company rather than a B2B like mine simply because I don't feel as though our business model allowed my marketing team to take advantage of Salesforce Audience Studio's strongest features. Their adaptive Consent Management looks incredibly helpful on paper, but if your audience is comprised of mostly enterprise server email addresses like ours, managing consent and email deliverability is a whole different problem.

Additionally, unless your business is integrated within Salesforce's Marketing Cloud product suite, you may find that functionality of key data science features are slightly limited - specifically when you are trying to build out a customer journey or revenue attribution model.
